Prime Rib Cooking Instructions

Season your roast to taste - or have us cut, tie and season it for you!

Preheat Oven to 400 Degrees F.

Place the prime rib in a roasting pan (Bones Down) and put it in the oven.

Turn heat down to 325 and roast for the following times:

4-8lbs: 20 Minutes/lb

8-14lbs: 18 Minutes/lb

14lbs + : 15 Minutes/lb

 

PLEASE NOTE: Every oven is different. We recommend checking your roast temperature before you expect the roast to be finished. You can always cook it longer if need be. Be sure to let the roast rest before carving - it will continue to cook as it rests.

 

For medium rare: Pull roast at 125 F and let it rest to 130F.

 

For Medium: Pull roast at 135F and let rest to 145F.
